ARS - Americas' Redemption System

Adopt a Family - How it works

There are 2 ways you can choose to adopt a family:

 1) Individual Sponsor - You (your family) can sponsor a family by yourself (cost of supporting a family is $200 per month for 2 years).

 2) Family Sponsoring Group - You can join other families in to a "family supporting group". Each group will be open for more supporting families to join until the amount of donations reach the $200 per month necessary to support an entire needy family (each sponsor decides how much they will give a month - minimum of $20 per month for 2 years).

We ask for each sponsor to commit his/her support for 2 years because this is the amount of time we believe each adopted family needs to achieve self-sufficiency. ARS will not send cash to the adopted families. Your donations will be used to provide job training, marriage counseling, medical care, education, spiritual and social support the family will benefit from.

Steps to adopt a family:
. You e-mail ARS requesting the Adoption Form;
. ARS will e-mail you the Adoption Form;
You will fill and mail Adoption Form back to ARS;
. ARS will acknowledge your choice of adoption, Individual or Family Group Sponsor;
. ARS will e-mail information on families to be adopted if you choose to be an Individual Sponsor ,
    or
    ARS will pick a family for you if you choose to be part of a Family Sponsoring Group;
. You e-mail ARS  your family choice if you are an Individual Sponsor ;
. ARS will acknowledge your family choice;
. ARS will e-mail you confirmation of adoption and more information on your family (Individual Sponsor and Family Sponsoring Group);
. You start mailing contributions;

If the familie an Individual Sponsor picked is no longer available at the time he/she makes a choice, ARS will notify him/her so that he/she can pick another family.

ARS will send you every January an annual report of your contributions for your IRS Income Tax.
