To empower spiritually, emotionally and socially families in great need throughout the Americas.
ARS Strategy
A.R.S. strategy is for one or more families to adopt a needy family in the target areas throughout the Americas. A.R.S., in partnership with local projects, will provide support for the needy family, including education, marriage counseling, medical care, job training, money /income courses and workshop training, and spiritual guidance. The goal is for the adopted family to be self-sufficient in two years.
ARS History
ARS was founded by Pastor José and Leoni Almada-de-Abreu in 2006. Pastor José has been a minister of the gospel since 1965. From 1973 to 1986 the Abreus served in a very needy area of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He also served as Chaplain for World Vision Brazil, coordinating all religious programs in social projects. He taught Church History and Contemporary Theology at Seminaries in Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He and his wife have also worked as family counselors for more than 3 decades. They have 3 married daughters and 4 granddaughters who also live in the United States.
